I realized that actions speak louder than words .I know that I promised to blog daily ,but my real life job keeps me away from second life from time to time .That’s why I am not able to do it . Better late than never right? Anyway ,I am still not going anywhere. So every time I’ll see something new I’ll try my best to blog it as soon as possible .So Glamorous Furniture will still be here ,and with a little help I am sure this year will be even better than 2011.

So now back to what we have for today’s presentation. I want to introduce you a new store that joined our collaboration list called ::TeddyJr:: .All their items are mesh ,and of course all of them look splendid.You should definitely check their marketplace link for more items.

Back to the item we have for today ,it is called Tallboy and it is a fabulous mesh dresser .The texture are so realistic ,for a moment I thought they were real life pictures.So in order to see this design you’ll have to use a viewer that supports mesh.If you are wondering how much prims it uses , the answer is 6 .

Glamorous Furniture//Making Magic

I think I told you all that this is going to be a medieval week *hehe* .We got many fabulous items related to the past .Today I am bringing on Glamorous Furniture a stunning cauldron system that everyone who calls herself/himself a witch/wizard should get it . Since I am a big fan of Harry Potter , I was even happier to get the chance to blog this masterpiece .Let me tell you more about it.

The cauldron can be found on the marketplace of Proxima Saenz and you will be socked to hear that it costs only 600 l$. Believe me for how good this cauldron is, the price is extremely low .Let me tell you some words about it..

First of all ,in order to save prims you can rezz and de-rezz the shelve by opening the cauldron menu. I think this is a great idea especially if you use it on a RPG land where the prims you should use are limited.The cauldron itself has only 10 prims(with the shelve that is only needed for brewing it gets at around 63 prims) .In the same time you will find inside it a magic box ,containing instruction about how to create different potions. Most of them are inspired from Harry Potter World. I heard that the scripts that are used ..aren’t laggy at all, so I think it will fit perfectly in a potion classroom at Hogwarts.

And here comes the best part .You can create your own potions and ingredients too .So yes ..for only 600 l$ you can transform this masterpiece in a custom one .I personally can’t wait to think of what new potions to include .It’s so much fun.For making this even funnier,they included a 30% change of the cauldron to explode if you brew a Goofed Up potion.

I am always that kind of persons that takes the bull by the horns when I realize that something is wrong .I saw that last year I wasn’t able to blog so often, so I decided that it’s time for Glamorous Furniture to return back on the top and that’s why I am going to show you almost daily presentations .It seems like I became a really hardworking girl this year .Anyway it looks like this week we will have many medieval/magical and Goth items ,that’s really something new for us ,since we use to blog mostly modern items .We will start this with an old styled library and office ,both designed by a store that just joined our collaboration list .Let me tell you more about it..

The store is called “Old World” and is owned by Katrina Kristan .I think we should put a price on the designers head ,because she is so talented ,everybody most know about her .At her store you will find mostly medieval/old style items ,all of them made in a high quality way .

As I said I brought you today (for the first time) two different sets of library in the same post .I think we should start with the office one since it is one of my favorites from her store.The set is called “Medieval cabinet with library, books, maps and skulls” and as the name says it includes a desk,2 chairs, bookcases ,maps and different other decorations that makes the entire environment more good looking.It is a really great set for people who deserve a medieval office in their home ,or people who own a castle.

The next set is similar in many ways to the other one ,just that it is more a huge library .It is called “Medieval old library”.Instead of the desk we have a carpet with books ,perfect for people who enjoy reading a lot.For sure another must have from her store.

It’s so good to see you all again .Time flies really fast,it seems like 2012 is already here. I am really happy to see that all of you came back on this blog ,and hope you will find my future posts really interesting .I am preparing many surprises for you .Anyway since this is my first day back at work ,I wanted to do something special. That’s why I am introducing to you a new store that just joined our store list a few days ago…

I am talking about The Elegant Goth store owned by Deja Letov.I was impressed by the quality of her designs .At her stores you will find mostly goth items, but as I said you will really enjoy their qualities. I recommend you all to visit her store and her marketplace for previews or more items.

The first set we got from her store is called “Vampire Clan Living Room”,I am sure that the name explains everything .It is a living room set that includes a huge sofa for 16 people,sofa table+lights ,fireplace and 2 other candelabras for the floor .All of these count around 91 prims.By touching the first pillow,the owner can change the colors of the velvet.

Glamorous Furniture -Happy New Year 2012

… It seems like one more year passed and Glamorous Furniture is getting older and older each day . We already reached 1 year and 10 months of weekly high quality furniture presentations , and I really wish to thank you all for reading and subscribing on this blog .I really can’t express myself in words of how happy I am that I managed to survive with this blog for such a long time .In the following lines I am going to tell you a short story about how Glamorous Furniture was founded and what this year brought us on the blog .So if you didn’t read all our posts ,it is a great opportunity for you to find out what you missed. Glamorous Furniture was founded on 21 March 2010 and I think it was one of my greatest ideas related to second life .I worked Glance International Agency as a Head Stylist and Head Blogger for a very long time ,and managed to learn all the trick about blogging. I am proud to say that I even created a group of friends that included almost all the elite fashion designers in the virtual world .Until one day I decided why not to give a try to blog furniture & homes too .I was a bit nervous , because I wasn’t sure how others will see this project ,but it seems like I got a majority of good answers. I still remember my first SoHuGiKi Solutions post ,worked so hard to impress that designer since he was the first one to join my list .Luckily my skills improved and people started liking my reviews more and more . One of the things that I learnt through this experience is to never give up and always thrust in your ideas.

As I said this year we had many new releases. Because of my real life personal life (including my wedding and different job promotions) I wasn’t able to blog as much as I did in 2010,but I tried my best .We started this year with the fantastic Winter Laurel Dinning Room followed by the high Abiss Romance Lights.Next on our blogging list was a building by Bahia Tiki called Panama .I must tell that I was really impressed with it’s style. Zen Escape Living Room was definitely one of my favorite sets that I got this year for blogging ,always loved how the green and white colors match. KD Tropical Bathroom Set was another hit thanks to the massage table included in the pack .But we got something for bedroom too ,called Laurel BedRoom Set that was designed by What Next and which reminded me of old huge style beds. Dutchie Bed is another piece that you shouldn’t miss.If you prefer the tiki style items I invite you to visit Beachfront store ,he gave me the Beach chair set that I really enjoyed. Abiss will always be considered an elite designer when we talk about furniture ,she designed the Cubettos Set that I use in the Glance International Agency meeting room .Really breathtaking textures. [MudHoney] returned this year on the blog with the bathroom set called Seville ,many good looking pieces at a very good price.After all of these ,we had the Sanctuary Skybox designed by Abiss and inspired from the movie called Tron. We were also proud to announce the grand opening of Tableau Vivant store with a set designed by them and called “Needful Things .My Corner”. SoHuGiKi Solutions will always have a reserved space in my heart since they were the one that offered me objects to reviews.That’s why I was really happy to be able to blog the bed called “Superstar” from the same store. Envy Hot Tube by Abiss was probably one of the best posts thanks to the realistic texture of the hot tube that made my photos look great without having to use photoshop .Forsquares joined our designers list this year too ,and was presented on the blog with their set called Weekender .Then Abiss returned back with 2 new releases: Allegro Bed and Le Parisien Set both having that specific style that only Abiss owners can design.Dutchie tried again to impress us with the skybox Pied a terre The Hague (that came furnished) ,and I am more than sure that she managed to do what she wanted. We have [BA] store on our list too that’s why I was really honored to review their building called Villa Seville.I couldn’t keep myself away from Abiss so I asked her to send me one of the best 2011 living room set called Le Parisien .Then Dutchie came back on the blog with the Modern Bathroom . Abiss ,as an elite designer,couldn’t keep herself away from designing ,and created 2 stunning homes Hillside and Beachfront. I am really proud to tell you that we are one of the blogs that always welcomed mesh items with open hands. That’s why we were really nervous when we got the chance to blog our first mesh item called The Kitchen Table by Dutchie.After a long brake ,NotSoBad returned in the virtual world with this new outdoor set –Ella.A new store opened this year too ,Laqroki Décor .I am sure that in a very short time they will become one of the top home designers. We had the chance to review the Quaint Cottage and more buildings by them are still waiting to get posted. So we finally reached the last post of 2011 with the mesh kitchen by Dutchie that I hope you all enjoyed.

So as you can see from the summary I wrote above ,it was a really busy but wonderful year .I hope that 2012 will be as good or even better than 2011. I am looking forward to blogging more first class items and to welcome in second life new furniture stores .It’s already late and I have to get ready for the New Year Party .I wish you all a fabulous 2012 , and hope you all will return next year to read about the newest must haves homes and furniture in second life .

It was a fabulous year both for me and the Glamorous Furniture blog .We managed to get thousands of daily clicks..and the show still goes on.Even better new releases will be waiting for you on the same blog next year too .Until than i got something special that I am sure everybody will simply adore-a mesh kitchen designed by Dutchie Furniture store .Let me tell you more about it.

First of all I must tell you that the entire kitchen is mesh .I think you can easily see that by taking a closer look to the high quality pieces. By clicking on the wood part of the chimney you will be able to choose between 3 different type of wood color that fits the best your home.

Animations started becoming a problem when we talk about furniture.I am convinced that everyone think the same when I say that we hate pose balls .Luckily with this new kitchen you don’t need them.You can simply sit anywhere on the table and a menu will pop-up letting you select between 21 solo or 12 couple animations.Some of the animations come with rezzing scene too.The kitchen is copy and modify.If you think that the white chimney is a problem you can edit it and change it’s texture in order to fix your walls.

So I think it’s time for you to love more and more mesh items. I know there have been many discussions related to this subject, but just by taking a look at this fabulous new release you will realize that mesh can make sl a even better place .By the way ,I want to wish you all a fabulous New Year,and see you all in 2012,xoxo Ama.

Hello my blog readers .In the past few days I wasn’t very happy ,had some problems in real life that I had to fix as fast as possible,my second life viewer was very laggy and all together kept me away from blogging .But I learnt from my parents that every cloud has a silver lining.And look ,here I am blogging a doozy new house designed by the fresh opened store Laqroki Décor .I am convinced you will love this cottage ,personally it conquered my heart.

As you might see from my last posts I finally finally found my feet .The first time I blogged on Glamorous Furniture ,I was very nervous because I wasn’t sure if I am doing a great job .But as the time passed and people asked me to blog more and more ,it made me feel more confident. So I want to thank you all for the support you gave me,and I promise you that more new releases are going to be published on Glamorous Furniture.

So as I told you at the beginning of today’s post ,there a new store in second life for all furniture and home lovers. You might have heard about Laqroki ,one of the elite brands when we talk about skins .I am really proud to tell you that they opened Laqroki Décor, where they are going to release houses and furniture .I am looking forward to seeing how fast they can reach the top ^^.

I am so amazed how much everything changed in second life thanks to the mesh thing .Now I feel like everybody can live high on the hog..The cottage in the picture is called Quaint and is one of the first 3 releases by Laq Décor .It is made from both prims and mesh too.The entire cottage has 76 prims so I think that’s not a lot at all ,when we think about the quality.

I think that it is very important to know the ropes when you buy a new house .Every detail is in important in it’s own many ,so never forget to take a close look before buying a building.In the notecard that contains different useful tips about this house it is said that the building is equipped with a “A.E HouseControl Unit” which can be found near the front door.By pressing this you can control useful things about the house like:radio,fireplace,security,windows,options,rentals etc.

Glamorous Furniture//Abiss is Back-Beachfront House

History repeats itself every time Abiss releases a new house .I can easily tell you ,that every time they release a new design it becomes a must have in second life .That’s one of the reasons why I always enjoy blogging their designs,they always stay fresh and everybody wants them .I always watch Frasha’s designs with an eagle eyes ,trying to find anything that seems like not fitting or wrong ,but I can proudly say that I was never able to find something like this ,they are simply perfect.

So please don’t tell me that you didn’t hear about Abiss .It is one of the mot wanted brands in virtual world .I must tell you that their releases are so realistic that for a moment you can’t tell the difference between a real picture and the one in second life .So if you love high quality stuffs I invite you to visit this store, which by the way it’s my favorite one too.

I’ve been waiting for this house for a long time .I remember when I was talking with Frasha a long time ago and told her that I am convinced that this house will be one of her best work ,and now I am really sure that I was right .I never saw something higher quality than this .Splendid work!

It is called Beachfront residence and it comes in two different versions : one for the ground and one for the sky.The ground one is the standard version without any surroundings ,but the sky one includes specific surroundings like terrain , water and skydome.

I was told that both version fits in a 4096 sq. meters parcels,and because of the huge prims even though your parcel is smaller surroundings will go across borders but wont be considered in prim count of adjacent parcel.

If space is always a problem for you ,I must tell you that you will have no problem because of that if you’ll buy the Beachfront residence. The entire house has 1 living room+dinning room+ kitchen;1 bedroom,1 bathroom,a large terrace and a dock too .All this together gives you a wonderful experience while living there.

Furniture are not a problem when we talk about Beachfront .Abiss took care of this too and included everything we need in the pack.The default Auto-Rez includes the following pieces: plumbing fixtures, rugs, shelves, paintings, lamps, cabinets, curtains, entire kitchen, shower, wardrobe –all with copy permission .In the same there there is a special pack too that contains other items like :bed, sofa ,table, chair,hot tube, patio chair,bat stools and props.

Another thing you should know is that this house is sold with two types of furniture: Pg and Mature .There is no difference related to the way the furniture looks ,is just that the mature version includes adult animations too and PG only cuddles and PG animations.

Because of the quality of this building ,I am more than sure that prims aren’t a problem .Skybox version contains 888 prims(+ mesh docks ,really impressing work making everything even more romantic) while ground version contains 883 prims.

Hello Glamorous Furniture, I’ve got for you new releases from NotsoBad store.I know that Christmas is coming really soon ,and I really feel you when you tell me how hard is to buy for somebody a present. That’s why I’ll recommend you to take a look at this post ,and if you or your friend are furniture lovers, for sure you’ll want to get it.

NotsoBad is one of the top stores in second life .They design first class furniture and homes .Every time when they release something new,I fall in love with it .The texture and the style are simply amazing .Without doubts they are an elite in the furniture industry.

What I’ve got for you today is called “Ella Set” .As you can see from the pictures it includes 2 armchairs,1 sofa and 1 coffee table .All very first class.The entire set contains 36 prims,I think that’s not a lot at all .The armchair and sofa come with color change scripts: over 18 colors to choose from.In the same time you get many poses :the sofa contains 57 couples poses and and 3 x 4 single poses ;the armchair contains 6 single poses .The 57 couples poses are suitable for friends or cuddle /adult actions. .The entire set is no copy/no modify/transfer.

I am not dead .I know I’ve been away for a long time ,and that Glamorous Furniture stopped presenting you newest releases from the furniture world of second life ,but I promise you that I’ll be back really soon .It’s just that I always put real life in front of second life ,and since my rl was so busy ,especially with business traveling ,I really had to take a break .But as a way to prove you all that I’m sorry ,I am ready to present to you a new mesh item designed by the fabulous Froukje Hoorenbeek.

For those who don’t now Froukje Hoorenbeek is the owner of the well known brand Dutchie. Her products have definitely outsold all the other brands items simply because she is a very creative designer ,that knows how to play with textures and how to make everything look fantastic.

So what I am going to show you today is the set called “The Kitchen Table” .As you might know mesh has become part of our virtual life ,more and more designers started using mesh for their products. Without any doubts at this moment it fits perfectly for furniture designing .Today’s set is full mesh. It contains a table,2 chairs,lamp (with 3 different bright settings) and a table cloth(you can choose between 5 different texture for this).In the same time I love this design because it doesn’t have pose balls .Just sit on the chair and you can choose between 30 solo animations or 22 couple ones.More than this there are animations that comes with rezzer scenes(example:smoking ,reading,coffee,lunch,chess etc).

This set is the is the prim equivalent of 20 prims ,but I must tell you that it is a must have in your kitchen .I think now it’s time for shopping .Press the slurl that is written under this text and get ready to spend their Lindens.
